Coffee with the Miltons: Craik House

February 6, 2021 | 9:00 AM

Grab your favorite cup of joe and join President Milton Moreland and Dr. Milton Reigelman for a lively morning conversation! Take a behind-the-scenes tour of Craik House and meet its newest residents, Milton and Dina Moreland, along with their rescue dog, Blue. Learn about the Moreland's plans for the newly renovated spaces and their goals to welcome students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends back to Craik House in 2021.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Craik House was built in 1853 and has served as the residence of Centre presidents and their families since 1938. For years, Craik House has been in integral part of Centre's hospitality. Past presidents have welcomed new students into their home as a first introduction to the campus community, and it has also been a venue for countless golden reunion celebrations and events for both alumni and students. This current renovation will allow the Craik House to continue to serve as a residence for Centre presidents and as a warm beacon of hospitality to the Centre community for many years to come.

Featuring Centre’s 21st President, Milton Moreland, and hosted by Dr. Milton Reigelman, emeritus professor of English, this monthly virtual series provides an insider's look at exciting new campus initiatives and introduces the faculty, staff, and students that make Centre College a catalyst for learning and global engagement.
